Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons Course

Course Aim: To introduce candidates to the importance of Safeguarding Vulnerable People in all walks of life. The course will raise awareness among individuals to ensure they will be better placed to implement organisational policy and the necessary procedures to follow.

Who Should Attend: Individuals working with Vulnerable Persons either in a paid or voluntary capacity. The course will be delivered in 4 hours.

  • Who is a Vulnerable Person
  • Who is an abuser
  • Types of abuse
  • Recognising abuse – signs and symptoms
  • Dealing with abuse
  • Dealing with disclosure
  • Legislation – Dealing with disclosure
  • Safe working environments

If your organisation has a specific area of training that is not included, or you require a more in-depth session, then we can accommodate you by providing additional training in that particular subject.

Certification: Candidates will be issued certificates on the successful completion of the course.

Numbers: A minimum of 8 and a maximum of 15 students can be accommodated on this course.

Location:  We are able to deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises or we can source a suitable location if necessary.
