1 Day Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Working Safely Course

Course Aim: This course will provide candidates with essential Health and Safety knowledge to recognise common hazards in the workplace and why everyone has a responsibility to work safely.

Who Should Attend: This course has been designed for those persons that require a basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety in the workplace.

The course includes five core modules as follows:

  • Introduction on working safely
  • Defining hazard and risk
  • Identifying common hazards
  • Improving safety performance
  • Protecting the environment

 

If your organisation has a specific area of training that is not included, or you require a more in-depth session, then we can accommodate you by providing additional training in that particular subject.

Certification: Candidates will have to successfully complete both a practical and written assessment in order to gain a Nationally recognised certificate issued by the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH).

Numbers: A minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 students can be accommodated on this course.

Location: We are able to deliver this course on your site, subject to a pre-course assessment of your premises or we can source a suitable location if necessary.
